Libera Estate

Libera Estate is a small boutique wine project named after the goddess Libera – the goddess of fertility and freedom.

The history of Libera Estate began in 2013 when they started producing limited series of experimental wines from various grape varieties. Their goal is to present the authentic character of Bulgarian wine, combining centuries-old local traditions with their team's modern approach.

When talking about the renowned wines of the Melnik region, one cannot overlook the unique local grape varieties found only there – Melnik 55, Shiroka Melnik Vine, Melnik 82, Sandanski Misket, and Keratsuda. These varieties are, and will remain, the cornerstone of Libera Estate's production.
